Can't get my makita bmr100 site radio to work with...

Can't get my makita bmr100 site radio to work with batteries or AC adaptor change batteries in back up but still no response still getting low battery symbol and a big e in middle

5 Did you look and see if the ground is connected take the back off i had one that did the same
