I have Maytag washer SAV4655EWW. It diesn't drain ...

I have Maytag washer SAV4655EWW. It diesn't drain when the washing and spinning cycles end. The control continuously goes forward till the end of the selected cycle (standard, heavy or else). If it is reset to drain, or lift the lid it then drains normally. It happens frequently.
