I have repeat problems with a Maytag washer model 2400AWW. Problems are control related, rq'ing replacement of the control board twice, even thou unit is only ~ 3 yrs old. Input power is surge protected. When the control board goes bad, washer was in use, now cannot be drained, door locked, and display reads "SS" or maybe it is "55" . Maytag CS could not find that code listed in the service manual. The wire harness and terminations looks pretty good.
