We have a maytag commercial quality super capacit...

We have a maytag commercial quality super capacity quiet series washer model LAV3600AWW and the agitator is pushed by the clothes during washing to the point it does not work. I cannot figure out how the agitator is supposed to stay connected. It pulls up and off very easily. Tks Bill
