When the key is turn on with break depressed and blades off, it will not start. I have tried charging the existing battery and put in another. When the key is turned there is no "click" noise or anything. The light does come on but the voltage gauge. It acts like the break is not depressed or like the blades are engaged. The mower worked fine last week

4 check either the key switch or the solenoid

0 Make sure that your PTO lever is completely (pulled back toward you) disengaged. This happens usually when the return spring just above the deck becomes weak or breaks.
