My mtd mower just quit while I was mowing. I think it may be a safety switch issue or a wire burnt into.I can hotwire a wire from switch to solenoid and it will turn over and try to start but it shut down, sounds much like it does when it dies getting out of the seat when it running. Without hotwiring it it wont do anything, the only clicking you can hear is the fuel thing under the carb.
