i HAVE PURCHASED ABOVE MODEL 5 OR 6 YEARS AGO, SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT CARBON MONOXIDE ALARM MUST BE REPLACED EVERY 5 YEARS , IS THAT TRUE, ? IF SO WHY DON'T THEY LAST LONGER AS LONG AS YOU REPLACE YOUR BTY'S AND TEST REGULARLY , IT IS NO MENTIONNED IN THE USER GUIDE, PLS ADVISE THANKS FRANK..............
