I have had the above detector for approximately three years, and of all the years I have had it the batteries die before the year is up. I can understand one battery dying but all of them does not make sense. When it starts beeping it shows LB which tells me that I have a low battery and it needs to be replaced. I wonder if I am better off getting a new detector or keep buying batteries at $5.00 a pop. Maybe you can give me a clue as to what the problem is. R. Michael Dwyer
