WHY in the world does this thing keep going off?? I always think it s the battery but in the manual is says it should flash - lo bat?/ and it does'n't it just says GAS?? Is there a recall on this product?

0 Yes, there is a recall. Call 800-880-6788. You will need your model number, assembly number, and date of manufactor--all of which can be found on the back of the device.
