Question About Nighthawk Carbon Monoxide Alarm 900-0032-01
trying to find out if it is working properly...

When I push the test button, is the unit suppose to make noise and light up the ALARM or no? There is a green light saying its operating, but when i push test the green light flickers and no noise. The detector says it was made in Feb. 1996
