belt is silpping on nordic trac trl 625. Anyway to repair?

0 I too thought belt was slipping, but it was the crank/axle within the pulley assembly. I noticed that the pedals would turn and with only a light grip on the pulley wheel it would slip. I spoke with a Nordictrack tech who told me it was probably the crank/axle that had worn down. It was. Crank cost $56, and it took about an hour to fix. Only difficulty was getting the two retainer clips back on. Bike works fine again.
