Question About Omega Engineering Smoke Alarm OMA-VM520-DCP

240VAC(-) 50/60 Hz, 60mA Powered Ionization Smoke Alarm Problem is that the smoke alarm starts chirping at 45 second intervals when the temperature in the room is less than 16 degrees celsius - what should I do to stop this happening - can't afford to have the room at a constant 17 degreees plus. thanks
