Just bought a used one (Cheap but looks great) at a tag sale to use as a PA system at an outdoor event. Mic works, which is essential. Was thrilled to see it runs off D cells but even though all looks pristine in there, it isn't working. Would other manuals address this as well? Not sure if it impacts battery usage but cassettes don't engage either- which doesn't matter for what we need.
