We have not been ablt to successfully pop microwaveable popcorn in this microwave. We have used several brands. Any one else have that problem and how to solve

0 I just bought this microwave and had the same problem (terrible burnt popcorn). I think it has to do with the metal style plate that came with the unit. Mine didn't have a glass one.

0 We keep a microwave-safe plate in our microwave now. Popcorn pops great and other food heats well unlike when we just use the metal style plate that came with microwave. They need glass plates in the microwave.
