Minimum generator to turn on and cycle...

want to purchase a generator big enough if hurricane comes, that will run the air conditioner and the freezer and frig help fast !! thanks

0 First you have to find the voltage and amps of the units you want to power. It should be written on th units. Should look like; 120V 22A When you get all the units you want to power Multiply the voltage by the amps for watts. 120V X 22A = 2640W. total all the units together and add 1/3 it should give a generator that will run what you need.
