want to use the main part of the monitor to sooth my baby (who is 17 months) by leaving the night light on. Bought re chargeable batteries because i don't want her to play with the wire when plugged in to mains. I have put the batteries in and there is power but the red light is flashing continually on and off and ever 30 seconds the monitor beeps. Why?
