Question About DVR Model *CH STAND-ALONE DVR
Default Password...

I bought this off of eBay not knowing I would need a password. Instruction manual says contact your dealer.... Can anyone help or at least point me in the right direction as t who i can contact... Didn't find much on the web after many, many searches... Thanks, Don

3 Try not putting a password in. Hit the right arrow key, moving the cursor through the password digits until you come to the end and then hit the enter button.

0 Hi. I know the answer, it's at the URL below. Download the one matching the number of channels on your unit, then open it with Adobe Reader. Search the PDF for the word 'password'. There you should find that the GenIV uses a simple, single-digit password, to get you in under the 'manager' mode, just hit '1' on the left-hand keypad, then hit the 'return' button on the right-hand keypad. If this doesn't help, just email me, I won't mind...

0 I never changed the default password, it is in a secure area. The pw has been changed by mgmt accidentally. I can prove its mine legally, I just need the key combo that restores the default pw. I know this code exists, I recommended this unit to a friend, he got 1, & needed this in the past & some1 helped him out. mine is now a model or 2 back, & the only help I can find involves buttons mine doesnt have, such as stop and pip. Please help! ericmpulliam at yahoo is my add. Thanks!
