1 need to replace piston rings on coleman 5000 generator. How do I get the generator off of the main shaft, I removed six inch bolt but windings wont come off the shaft so I can open up the motor and get to the piston. I assume its pressed on the shaft??

1 Even without the owners manual, I turn the motor switch to "ON", and before pulling the starter cord, do I have to adjust the throttyle switch, or anything else ? Appreciate any help.
