Question About Panasonic DVR DMR-EX75, DMR-EX85
hard disc error...

on start up ger "HDDERR" code and drawer opens. then nothing other than clicking. cant access any menus etc........Help !

1 And I have the same problem too! Clearly this is a design fault??Im fairly sure my unit is now not under guarentee either. This happened to me before and I kept turning on and off- leaving 10 mins +. ive tried this again today but this time it deosnt seem to be firing up again.

0 8 june 2009 - have just experienced the same issue the troubleshoot section of the manual states the obvious ie 'the unit is not functioning properly' - also suggests 'switch the unt off and on again' this has had no effect so far only other troubleshoot advice is 'if this does not solve the problem, contact customer service' anyone any other solutions please - many thx Bill
