ok i guess its not that big of a deal but i got this thing on my screen that looks like the text message icon but it has an red f on it and i was wondering wat it was

0 My Pantech PG1600 has an icon with a redish dot or star on the right side of the icon, and since then I stopped getting ring tone even when there is incoming call. I just put the phone on vibrate. I am looking for the manual or an explanation to solve this problem.
