The above item has developed a significant fault, in that the HDD has become inaccessible. My parents in law were able to record programmes on to the HDD, for watching later on, and then deleting straight after watching the recording. Therefore the HDD was empty, but now the display says that there is no capacity available. The Freeview Plus (Pause live tv) feature has also stopped working. There is an error code 'E48' displayed. Can you suggest what to do next, please?
