Hello, Playback on our HDD or of recently recorded TV programmes is often disrupted or pixlated. To the extent it can become difficult to watch. Items we recorded some time ago do not have this problem nor is it a problem watching live TV. If it were a record, or a tape I would think it needed cleaning. All connections seem fine and there has been no damage or recent movement of the unit.
