Have moved! We are trying to set up our Philips LCD flat screen HD TV to Time Warner cable vision. The TV has been moved from DISH network. Time Warner is currently on line to the house and active. However, we are not receiving reception. No manual to be found in the moving process. Do we need to reformat the TV? Can you help guide us through the process?

5 I work for time warner, just because you have active signal from the tap to that house doesn't always mean the cable ports in your home are "hot" - if your home has a internal junction box the lines have to be properly configured through a splitter. If your home doesn't have an internal junction box then they may need to be properly configured in the tcb (gray time warner weather box) on the side of your home. If that home had another service before like (dish or direct) the lines may be still running through those splitters. (Dish&direct tv splitters kill time warner signals). If you do not know how to tone out your lines and properly feed them through the splitters you may have to call a time warner tech for service. He will also be able to read your ports to see if you have proper signal. If you do there may be the unfortunate possibility that your television Is starting to fail but I'm pretty sure it's because those ports are not "hot"
