Question About Porter-Cable Portable Generator BSI550
BSV550-W No Output...

Mine sat up for 2 years, started up fine but only made 8 vac. I plugged in a small incandesent pilot light then grabbed the throttle shaft and forced the engine to idle. The light came on then I allowed the engine to run full speed. Then I loaded it up to 10amps.
