I would like to find out how to replace the auger drive belt on a Roper 6-24 snowblower.

0 Remove the bolts and nuts on each sihe of the unit where it attaches to the engine and drive unit. They are between the engine abd the blower . The engine unit will tilt back letting you get to the belt

0 Take the pully cover off. Take the bolts out of each side of the blower housing. One fo the bolts hold the blower shut crank handle. When you remove the bolts the power unit and the blower unit will will seprate and you should see the belts.Hold the idler pully back off the belt and you should be able to get the beltoff the blower-auger pully. This is for the 6-24 blower Which I also have one. You also have to take the bottom cover plate off
