While in the final spin mode, the machine suddenly made a loud screeching, grinding sound, and I hit the stop button. Upon inspection, I found this white plastic ring that had come loose from the gray inner tub. There are white plastic shavings and a small metal clip is attached to the tub and moves when you touch it. Have not tried to restart it. IF this ring is the balance ring, HOW do I get everything apart to fix it?
