0 Sounds like a color wheel has gone bad or a fan. If the bulb is new and the fans come on during power up the color wheel may be dead. My color wheel was nearly destroyed and I did not understand the damage until i removed it. What is the screen color during all these steps you mentioned? My screen was no longer blue or any color for that mater. If the wheel is working you should see some steady color at some point during power up.

0 I have now changed the BULB and BALLAST - now I hear the ballast "firing" but failing - 3 times - then the 3 front lights are all flashing. I'm wondering if the replacement bulb was bad AND the original ballast and bulb.
