Just bought this from the original owner and cannot get any TV channels on it. Its connected to the main house antenna, but will not show any TV channels when scanned in auto or manual - what am I doing wrong

0 I already have the manual. However when I go through the scan process (as per the manual) it takes a few minutes to scan but does not tune in any TV channels
