My car will turn over but wont fire what could the problem be

5 You are looking at a basic fuel air spark problem. Check for a hum near your gas tank, that should be the fuel pump kicking on, if not there's 1 possible culprit. A clogged fuel filter can reduce pressure, causing not enough fuel to shoot through injectors. Another possibility is 1 or multiple bad sensors and or a PCM problem. Any shorts or bad grounds could throw off the ability for the engine to manage the a/f ratio Bad plugs, wires, and coils could lead to no spark A remote possibility could be bad cylinder compression caused by wear. Also a cracked head or a bad head gasket could be the culprit. Check for oil in the coolant, and vise versa. Good luck!
