Need to remove a rod from an old drive cable assembly and install it on my new drive cable assembly, don't want to break the old assembly to get it out for fear of damage to the rod or fastening feature it may have. I cant find an easy way to disassemble the assembly to carefully remove the rod. Scotts model 21595x8a 21" self propelled lawn mower Thanks brian e.
