My mower just started giving me trouble. I push in the clutch/break, put it in gear and then let out the clutch, but nothing happens. It does not seem to be going into gear. Any ideas what's going on?

0 Thanks. The leaver you are referring to is only found on automatic transmissions. I have a gear drive. But I do think I have found the problem. When I reinstalled the right rear wheel after replacing a defective starter solenoid, I must have dislodged the steel key on the wheel shaft. Without that, the wheel shaft just spins inside the wheel flange. Now I need to find another wheel shaft key, because I can't find the old one.
