0 Don't really have a problem. Just want to know how to determine the date of manfacture for mine.The number stamped next to the ID number of 1690688 is 005968.Maybe May 9,1968?

0 My simplicity has always had issues with the engagement of the rear end. I always had to shift f/r over and over for it to begin to engage. It would drive a few feet in each direction until it would "catch" and I could then use the tractor. Now it's no longer engaging at all. The belt is intact. I don't have the model number on the MFG tag to look up a manual. Can anyone help? Tks.

0 My seriel number is 1690909 and the second set of numbers are 004649..its a simplicity 4211, wanted to know what year it is?
