I am getting the message'Update' on my Sony DVD recorder RDR-HXD790. The DVD handset is not functioning tho I have replaced the batteries, and the DVD wont operate manually either. ie. I cannot get beyond the 'Update' message. I have checked the leads in case they are loose, and all seem secure. Where do I go from here please?
