Question About Sony Projection Television None
Our bulb needed replacing as the picture had gone very dark, but tonight there was an explosion sound like a light bulb makes when they pop. We turned it off, then back on and it flashes green, makes and makes a buzzing sound so we've switched it back off...

Need some advice about this, as its about £100 for a new bulb, which we don't want to buy unless it is definately just the bulb. With it making this buzzing noise we aren't quite sure if thats all it is? Is that what happens when the bulb pops?
