0 Shine a torch at the display. If you can see a faint image, then the backlight is not working, in which case you will probably have a bad CCFL (lamp) or bad inverter.

0 I did what you asked but there is a blue light f;ashing in the front bottom of monitor and I can see a vaint flash accross the monitor when the blue light flashes.?
