MY SOYO LCD WONT TURN ON...

i CAME BACK FROM 3 WEEK VACATION AND MY TV WONT TURN ON. i DIDN'T HAVE A POWER BAR HOOKED TO THE PLUG...NOT SURE IF THAT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE. PLEASE ADVISE
