3 buttons- MODE, S/R (RESUME/STOP), SET - press 1x to alternate Steps and Miles- S/R - Reset to 0 for any mode by pressing 1 second. Change from Kilometers to Miles- Press S/R for 6 sec. R/S press 1 sec and press SET 1 sec to set "goals" for both steps and miles. To change length of stride: press the buttons 1 at a time in the order R/S-SET-MODE. May take several tries to get the stride and may go to other menus like Goals, just keep going until you get to stride and change length with R/S and set with SET.
