Question About Taylor Thermometer None
"LL.L" in outdoor temp display...

The unit is only a week old and has brand new batteries installed. The manual is useless as far as listing error codes and the like.

5 Remove batteries from both units. Reinstall batteries, first in base unit then remote unit. Leave back off of remote for now. Set unit to channel 1 on remote. Press Tx- red light should light up temporarily on base unit. Press and hold both the reset and channel button(while on Ch. 1) for a few seconds. Press Tx once more. Base unit should show picture of "radio tower" transmitting signal. Wait at least 56 seconds for base to receive
