5 Take the batteries out of the main unit then put them back in the main unit then the remote sender this resets the main unit

0 What works for me is to do the following on the temperature display unit: move the unit near the remote sensor. After opening the battery compartment, replace the TOP battery first; after you hear the beep, only then replace the bottom battery. You'll then hear a 2nd beep. The unit will then reset.

0 Had the same problem. Did you try pressing the channel button? Sometimes the easiest solutions are the easiest to overlook :-)
