0 Had an element go on my Teknika T948/1 oven, had it replaced by an independent tec. Now the temp control does not cut out when it hits the desired temp, hence the oven now just burns everything. I rang the guy, but he insists that it’s not his problem and that they are separate issues. He said he would come and fix it but it would cost me another service call and a new thermostat. Can’t help feeling I’m being mugged!!! Any ideas? Is it possible changing the element may affect the thermostat?
