Question About Timex Watch W-89
alarm is set, but I can't turn it off or reset it....

alarm is set, but I can't turn it off or reset it. Manual says to push mode until "alarm" appears, but it never does. Mode goes from "chrono" to "timer" back to the time. The watch is a Timex Ironman Triathalon 30-lap (WR 100m). there is a sticker on the back with the number "T5E931". I think the watch is 2-3 years old.
