6 I have the manual. However, the instructions refer to the watch as W-212. I found this link to the same manual I received with my Timex 1440 Sports. http://www.manualslib.com/manual/170754/Timex-143-095004.html

5 The instructions above are incorrect. You need to : 1. Hold the SET button down(top left) Wait for the seconds to flash. 2. Use the MODE button(bottom left) to toggle thru the hour , minute and date. 3. Once you are done hit SET again to save the changes.

4 This is for multiple models of the 1440 Sports. Note: WR50M is not a model...it just means water resistant to 50 meters. The models are listed on the back plate. I hope this helps others who are frustrated with Timex not posting these on their website even though they are still widely sold!!! I found this manual. Timex 1440 Sports Watch.pdf

4 press any button to make it be quiet. on 2 the next screen! this screen says T2 on the top. this is your 2nd timezone. setting this is a bit different. hold down set like usual, and change the hours. the hours count up by one, but the minutes count by 30. the T2 time can only be different from your T1 time by increments of 30min. make sense? click set to save changes. there! u now understand your watch... hopefully. if i explained it well enough. thank u! and goodnight. (im here all week) ;)

4 Additional comment to the one above. Once you have the hour/minute/date flashing, you use the start/stop button to change the numbers. Once you have the numbers that you want then you hit the SET button to save the changes!

4 as far as i know, u cannot turn off the button beeping. the first screen is ur time. the second screen is a stopwatch that counts up. the fourth is your alarm. the fifth is a stopwatch that counts down, and beeps at zero. setting this stopwatch is the same as setting your time. the sixth screen that says T2 is a different timezone. you can set ur watch to show two timezones at the same time. my question is: anyone know how to turn off the alarm?

3 The third screen is the alarm. The fourth screen says "tr" at the top with 0:00 in the middle. I'm assuming this is the stopwatch function but can't manage to make it work. The fifth screen looks like another clock screen. Says T2 at the top. What's that? And how do you turn the beep off so it stops beeping every time I push a button????

3 "CH" stands for "Chime". If you want your watch to "chime" on the hour, every hour, then you put your watch on this setting.
