Starts easy. Runs great for five minutes then dies. After sitting about fifteen minutes it starts again and dies after about five minutes.

0 You probably left your choke on. (Small plastic lever at the back of the engine.) Turn the choke off after the engine starts and you should be good to go.

0 New filter & I flushed out gas tank...The choke is off. Same problem as before.

0 I am having same problem, I looked at the paddles and saw I had **** wrapped around the axel I cleaned them, have not used yet but I figure it slows downs the turn action which put drag onthe motor

0 I have two of these snow blowers and find them to be extremely susceptible to water in the fuel. Even a little snow in the tank during fueling causes the engine to bog down. I have encountered this problem regularly. Warm the unit up inside and add a healthy amount of gas line anti-freeze (dry ga), then start the engine and run the snow blower under a constant load and the problem should clear up.
