I am trying to record on the extended play and it keeps recording on normal mode. I don't have the original remote (using a universal remote) and after inserting the settings in the menu I was not sure what to hit. The enter or select button does not start the recorder. I recently discovered hitting the record button repeatedly will change a recording setting from a 1 to a 5 (unsure if this hours or what). I want to record for 8 hours and seem to be at a loss as to how to do it
