I have a trane ptac that keeps blowing the first thermal link from the power cord. It has 3 heaters all with the same heating elements all with the same thermal links. Measuring across all elements I am registering 14.4 ohms. The unir t ran for a couple of days after replacing the thermal links but it blew the first one again. The links are 93 Deg celcius which I thought was a direct replacement for the original. Cause for blowing this first thermal link? Too much resistance?
