Lost manual - Need to find out how to check messages when calling home...

I've lost my manual and want to find out the code I need to be able to check my messages when I am away from home.

0 I don't have the manual, but I do know that you can reset the code my pressing the menu/clock button. It'll take you through setting the time, date, rings, etc. and eventually you will get to a spot to confirm or change the code. Could you tell me what I have to do to get my messages remotely? When my home phone answers, what must I do to get my messages?
