5 For your viking microwave you have 2 options for cooking. You can do sensor cooking which is suppose to adjust the cooking automatically based on the steam/ humidity measure by the sensor. For manual cooking you can choose different levels of power. Page 17 of the user manual shows all the different settings and what they correspond to. You would choose your power based on the food and recipe you are using. Power level 1 is 100% and is the highest power. It decreases by 10% for each power level higher. Example; Power level 2= 90%, 3=80%, 4 =70%, 5=60%, 6=50%, 7=40%, 8=30%, 9=20%, 10=10%(low setting), 11 is 0 % and is off. Attached is a screenshot that shows the settings on page 17. See below for the link for the operator's pdf manual and the answer for your audible signal on page 38. Here is the link for the user manual. http://www.vikingrange.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m20114_F20191.pdf This is on Page 38 for the audible sound, it tells you how to stop disable the sound and then how to restore the sound. Audible Signal Elimination If you wish to have the microwave oven operate with no audible signals, touch Help, the number 2 and Stop/Clear pads. To cancel and restore the audible signal, touch Help, the number 2 and Start/Touch On pads.
