Hi I have a Wharfedale B239 home phone, with answering machine (single) and the rechargeable batteries have charged their last charge! I brought Enegizer rechargeables, and they dont work! nothing comes on the phone, so i tried normal AAA batteries from my TV remote and they work, so i took the phone and batteries to my local electrician and he told me he has no clue why the rechargeables wont work! So i have had to buy a big pack of tesco AAA batteries, but i have to change them everyday as obviously the phone cannot go on the base and the phone is wiping the batteries! I need to know what rechargeable batteries will work in this phone? Or where you can get rechargeable batteries suitable for this phone? The batteries it came with, are: 1.2V 650mAh Any help will do!
