Question About Zenith Flat Panel Television M52W56LCD

our TV randomly shuts down, and after about an hour or two, the red light comes back on, indicating that the TV is getting power, and we are able to turn it back on. It's not that it turns itself off while we are watching TV, but rather after we have shut the TV we cannot get it to turn back on for a while.
