Downloading Images without Installing the

Software

Youcandownloadimagesbysimplyconnectingthecameratoacomputer,withoutinstalling

thesoftwarebundledontheDIGITALCAMERASolutionDisk.

However,pleasenotethatthereareseverallimitations.

•Itmaytakeafewminutes,afterconnectingtothecamera,untilyoucandownloadimages.

•Thecamerainformation(firmwareversion,etc.)mayno

tdisplaycorrectly.Inthiscase,usethe

softwarefromtheDIGITALCAMERASolutionDisk.

•RAWimagesorJPEGimagesrecordedatthesametimeasRAWimagesmaynotbe

downloadablewithsomesoftwareprogramsoroperatingsystems.

•Movieswillnotdownloadcorrectly.

•Imagesshotintheverticalorientationmaybedownloadedintheho

rizontalposition.

•Theprotectionsettingforimagesprotectedinthecameramaybelostwhentransferredto

thecomputer.

•Inaddition,theremaybeproblemswithdownloadingimagesorimageinformationcorrectly

dependingupontheversionoftheoperatingsysteminuse,thefilesizeorthesoftwarein

use.
